Projects

Visual Exploratory Data Analysis of Haberman’s Cancer Survival Dataset

Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) is the series of asking questions and applying statistics and visualization techniques to answer those questions and to uncover the hidden insights from the data. A case study on the cancer survival data set is done to explore the most common EDA techniques in this project.

Optimizing patient flow in Emergency Departments using Genetic Algorithms

Implemented a Genetic Algorithm for emergency departments to improve patient flow, while minimizing health care delivery costs. Utilized the Discrete Event Simulation (DES) model for the optimal allocation of service providers at each stage.

Diana’s Destiny – A Third Person Action RPG 3D Game

Developed enemy AI for various levels with increasing difficulty where the enemy targets the player and decides when to chase and when to attack depending on the player’s distance.

Script Analyzer

This project focuses on finding security vulnerabilities in the given script (JavaScript, PHP, Java, C++ and C#). For example, if a JavaScript code snippet is given as an input to our application, it will read each line, determine the methods and variables used. According to the flow of execution of the program, application will detect the points where the code is vulnerable to attacks.

Interests

Apart from being a web developer, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors. In the winter, I am an avid skier and novice ice climber. During the warmer months here in Colorado, I enjoy mountain biking, free climbing, and kayaking.

When forced indoors, I follow a number of sci-fi and fantasy genre movies and television shows, I am an aspiring chef, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technology advancements in the front-end web development world.
